after laparoscopic surgery

3. Waterproof band on the navel wound: Do not remove it until the day of your visit.
4. If you need to come to the hospital before your appointment
The following are side effects that may occur after surgery, so please come to the hospital as soon as possible/
1) When you have a fever (body temperature of 38 degrees or higher)
2) When you have abdominal pain
3) If you have diarrhea
4) When the pain in the umbilical wound is severe or the pain gets stronger
5) When the umbilical wound bleeds or oozes
6) If vaginal bleeding is increasing
7) When vaginal discharge smells bad
8) When clear vaginal discharge continues to come out
5.Precautions
1))Minor wounds on the vulva during surgery may be stinging and sore, and should not be touched or washed.
It will usually heal within a week. Let the medical staff know if your symptoms worsen.
2) Shower is available at any time
3) Avoid vaginal douching (including vulvar cleaning with a shower) and baths for 4 weeks.
4) Avoid sex for 4 weeks.
5) Light exercise can be done from 1 week after surgery if there is no discomfort.
6.Medical Change Guidance and Recommendations
1) The uterus has been removed and there will be no future periods.
2) The ovaries remain and female hormones are maintained, so menopause is not possible. (Menopause is a state in which ovarian function is lost)
3) If you experience menopausal symptoms (hot flashes, sweating, sleep disturbances, etc.) or do not have menopausal symptoms until the age of 50, visit the hospital for a menopause test.
4) Get cervical cancer screening only during national cancer screening (cervical cancer incidence rate is low)
5) Ovarian cysts or ovarian cancer may occur due to the remaining ovaries, so get a gynecological ultrasound every year.
6) If there is no uterus, menopausal hormone therapy does not increase the incidence of breast cancer, so please actively consider hormone therapy during menopause.
