Precautions after discharge (Premature Rupture of membrane)
1. Next visit: month day
2. Medication
Frequency: 3 times
When: Immediately after eating
Time Frame: Until the next visit
3.Please visit the clinic immediately, even before your scheduled appointment,
in the following case
-When there is a feeling of flowing amniotic fluid (possibility of recurrence)
-when vaginal discharge increases , especially watery discharge (likelihood of recurrence)
-Specific 38 degrees or higher in the presence of fever (possibility of progression to chorioamnionitis)
-When abdominal tightness (uterine contractions) appears (possibility of preterm labor)
-When the lower abdomen is constantly sore, heavy, or uncomfortable (possibility of preterm labor)
4.Precautions
To prevent recurrence and premature birth (birth before 37 weeks of pregnancy), please observe the following:
1) Avoid sex (up to 35 weeks of pregnancy)
2) Avoid vaginal douching (including vulvar washing with shower) and baths (up to 35 weeks)
However, a light shower is available.
3) For two weeks, refrain from moving as much as possible. After that, you can take a light walk but avoid exercise (up to 35 weeks)
4) When washing your hair, don't strain your abdomen,
Avoid postures that put pressure on the abdomen (bending the waist) in daily life.
5) Drinking enough water can help replenish amniotic fluid (take about 1L more than you usually eat)
6) Prevent constipation—If you need to strain your abdomen because of constipation, it can increase your abdominal pressure. If you are very constipated, see a doctor and get a prescription for constipation medication.
7) If diarrhea is severe, seek medical treatment or seek medical attention as soon as possible.
The likelihood of vaginal infection increases, leading to an increase in the recurrence rate of rupture of amniotic membranes.
